(Split class) Youth will be made aware of the consequences of sexual activity. Students learn the benefits of abstinence as the only sure way to prevent pregnancy and the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases.
GRADE 7 “Informed Decisions”

Youth will learn about the effects that tobacco, alcohol, marijuana and methamphetamine have on the human body.
GRADE 7 “HIV/AIDS”

Youth receive an overview of the immune system and how it responds to infection.
GRADE 5 “Life Begins”
Wednesday, February 8, 2017
(Split class) Youth learn about the normal physical and emotional changes that occur during puberty so they are prepared for the changes.Topics include hygiene, physical changes, emotional changes, anatomy, menstruation, and conception. A segment about fetal development demonstrates how babies grow before birth and how they are born. Students will learn the benefits of abstinence.
