COVID-19 Tuition Assistance Program

With the unanimous support of Canterbury's Board of Trustees and Leadership Team, Canterbury has created the COVID-19 Tuition Assistance Program (CTAP).

CTAP will provide assistance to offset the 2020-21 school year tuition for families who are enduring substantial financial hardship due to the COVID-19 stay-at-home mandate. The goal is to keep our community intact and to assist those families for whom this pandemic has caused a financial disruption or even complete loss of income.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • We have designed a secure and confidential process for families who want to apply for funding from the CTAP.
  • We will administer this process similar to our comprehensive process for need-based financial assistance. Assistance will be granted on a case-by-case basis, and will be limited to the resources available in the program.
  • Our usual need-based financial assistance program for Canterbury families will continue as a separate program.

If you anticipate the need for this emergency assistance, please register your interest as soon as possible via the form below. The sensitive financial information shared by families will remain confidential.

Canterbury’s COVID-19 Tuition Assistance Program was established to ensure the financial sustainability of Canterbury School by providing assistance with tuition expenses for the 2020-21 school year. Spending will be at the discretion of a committee consisting of the Head of School, Assistant Head of School, Business Manager, and Director of Advancement. Given the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus and its implications for all of us, these steps may require adjustments in the future.
