Students Receive National Scholar Recognitions

Five Canterbury students have been named National Merit Semifinalists: Edward Sun, Adel Quta, Anya Ramrakhiani, Audrey Woodruff, and Victoria Zambrano. Approximately 16,000 students, about one-third of the 50,000 high scorers on the PSAT taken in Grade 11, qualify as Semifinalists. Semifinalists are the highest scoring students in each state and have the opportunity to apply for Finalist standing and scholarships supported by the National Merit Scholarships Corporation.

Four students were named National Merit Commended Students: Alexander Bayburt, Ben Finkel, Noah Gephart, and Camille Coker (not pictured).
