All Inclusive Arts
From age 2 through Grade 12, Canterbury students have every opportunity to experience the arts in a variety of ways. From vocal and instrumental music to drama and dance to visual art and photography, fine arts courses are an important part of the school curriculum.

Every Student Makes the Team
At Canterbury, every student makes the team. The interscholastic sports program encourages individual participation and achievement by giving every student an opportunity to learn and play sports competitively. This policy of inclusion is at the core of Canterbury athletics.

A Community of Philanthropy
As an independent school, we design our own programs and curriculum and operate without reliance on local, state or federal taxes. Canterbury School relies on tuition income, Canterbury Fund contributions, endowment income and other fundraising activities to support our thriving college preparatory environment.

Pumpkin Profiles

Lower School students used their creative minds to bring pumpkins to life last week for the first-ever Pumpkin Book Character Contest. Lower School Librarian Christy Myers invited students in Grades 3 and 4 to participate in the optional activity, which children completed at home. Twenty students participated and received various awards.

"Not only did it brighten up the library during the week leading up to Halloween, but the contest also sparked interest in the different characters and books," Myers said.
