All Inclusive Arts
From age 2 through Grade 12, Canterbury students have every opportunity to experience the arts in a variety of ways. From vocal and instrumental music to drama and dance to visual art and photography, fine arts courses are an important part of the school curriculum.

Every Student Makes the Team
At Canterbury, every student makes the team. The interscholastic sports program encourages individual participation and achievement by giving every student an opportunity to learn and play sports competitively. This policy of inclusion is at the core of Canterbury athletics.

A Community of Philanthropy
As an independent school, we design our own programs and curriculum and operate without reliance on local, state or federal taxes. Canterbury School relies on tuition income, Canterbury Fund contributions, endowment income and other fundraising activities to support our thriving college preparatory environment.

Celebrating 30 Years: Class of 1996 Reunion Weekend

This weekend, Canterbury proudly welcomed back members of the Class of 1996 as they gathered to celebrate their 30-year class reunion. Alumni traveled from near and far to reconnect with classmates, revisit favorite memories, and celebrate the lasting bonds formed during their time at Canterbury.

The afternoon festivities included campus tours and opportunities for alumni to reconnect with many of their former teachers. Together, they shared stories, reflected on cherished memories, and enjoyed seeing how the school has grown and evolved over the years.

Later in the evening, classmates gathered once again for dinner and an evening filled with laughter, storytelling, and reminiscing about their Canterbury experiences. From sharing memories of classrooms and athletic events to catching up on life’s journeys since graduation, the reunion was a joyful reminder of the enduring Canterbury community.

We are grateful to the Class of 1996 for returning to campus and helping make the weekend so special. Once a Cavalier, always a Cavalier!
