COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information
Important Notice to the Canterbury Community (April 2, 2020):
Canterbury School will be closed effective at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 13, and we will transition to remote learning beginning on Monday, March 16. Our campus will remain closed for the rest of the 2019-20 school year. As the spread of COVID-19 continues, Canterbury School is taking several additional steps to help protect our community. Our spirit of community will guide us through the coming weeks as we work together to advance your children's education, and to support each other as needed.
Canterbury School is continuing to monitor the development of COVID-19 globally, nationally, and locally. We know it is important to keep our parents abreast of how this information impacts our school community.
Canterbury School continues to monitor news and alerts from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Indiana Department of Health, and the Allen County Department of Health to help us determine how best to remain proactive as the extent of COVID-19 evolves.
A team composed of our three Division Directors, the Director of Advancement, the Business Manager, the School Nurse, and the Head of School are meeting regularly to discuss this situation and communicating with each other daily as we receive information from a variety of sources. We are using that information to determine how best to move forward for the benefit of the safety of our school community.
