Mrs. Williams, Middle School Librarian

Congratulations to all who participated in the Canterbury Middle School Spelling Bee! In October and November, 26 students in Grades 5-8 participated in grade-level competitions. Each first-place grade-level winner competed against each other for the school's Spelling Bee Champion title.

This year, Anya Ramrakhiani ('23) was named Spelling Bee Runner-up Champion, while Chloe Park ('24) was named the Spelling Bee Champion. She correctly spelled "comet" in the grade-level competition and had no trouble spelling "legacy" to win the championship.

Chloe will represent Canterbury Middle School in the Allen County Spelling Bee at Purdue Fort Wayne's Rhinehart Music Center on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019. The competition begins at 6 p.m., and is open to the public.
