Canterbury School is excited to celebrate the 76 high school students in the Classes of 2018 and 2019 who've earned an Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams.

The College Board's AP Program provides students with opportunities to complete rigorous college-level course in high school, and to earn college credit and advanced placement for exceptional performance on AP Exams.

At Canterbury School, 76 students from the Classes of 2018 and 2019 earned AP Scholar Awards for the AP Exams they completed in Spring 2018. Collectively, their average score was 4.24 out of 5.0. For comparison, only about 22 percent of students worldwide who take AP Exams perform at a sufficiently high level to earn an AP Scholar Award.

Each year, Canterbury is proud to showcase a high proportion of awardees: 57 percent of the Class of 2018 and 31 percent of the Class of 2019 received an AP Scholar Award from Spring 2018 AP Exams.
