ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION IS NOW OVER. YOU MAY REGISTER IN THE MORNING BEGINNING AT 8 AM AT THE SOCCER FIELD. DAY OF REGISTRATION IS $25 + CANNED FOOD DONATION.

8 a.m. FINAL REGISTRATION

8:45 a.m. Pee Wee Race (ages 3-9) Entry Fee: Canned Food Donation

Register beginning at 8 a.m. day of the race. Course is the length of the HS soccer field and back.


9 a.m. 5K Run/Walk

  • Entry Fee: $20 (if you register and pay in advance; $25 morning of the event) and Canned Food Donation
  • Food barrels will be located at the race site for your canned food donations
  • Free childcare provided for Pee Wee racers during the 5K

10 a.m. Awards

  • Awards are given to the overall male and female winners and to the first three male and female winners in each age group.
  • Age groups are 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.


The Canterbury Family Fun Run/Walk is an annual fundraiser to support the Associated Churches Food Network. This race offers great fun, fitness, prizes and the opportunity to serve the hunger needs of our community. Whether you love to run or walking is more your speed, bring the whole family. The course begins at the Canterbury High School soccer fields and continues through the campus to part of the Aboite New Trails system.

The top prize for the overall male and female winners is a year membership to the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne.

Thank you for pre-registering for the Canterbury School Family Fun Run/Walk (Tin Can 5K) on October 14. The first 120 to register and pay will receive a T-shirt.

Please make your check of $20 per participant payable to Canterbury School and send it to Canterbury School, 5601 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, Attention: Susan Johnson/Fun Run, by October 9 or deliver it to the admissions office in the Middle School. Please make sure to include the participant name in the check memo or include a printed copy of this receipt.

Thank you so much for participating in this great event, which benefits the Associated Churches Food Network. Remember to bring your canned food donation the day of the event.

We will register Pee Wee racers the morning of the event.
