All Inclusive Arts
From age 2 through Grade 12, Canterbury students have every opportunity to experience the arts in a variety of ways. From vocal and instrumental music to drama and dance to visual art and photography, fine arts courses are an important part of the school curriculum.

Every Student Makes the Team
At Canterbury, every student makes the team. The interscholastic sports program encourages individual participation and achievement by giving every student an opportunity to learn and play sports competitively. This policy of inclusion is at the core of Canterbury athletics.

A Community of Philanthropy
As an independent school, we design our own programs and curriculum and operate without reliance on local, state or federal taxes. Canterbury School relies on tuition income, Canterbury Fund contributions, endowment income and other fundraising activities to support our thriving college preparatory environment.

Early Childhood Application

Canterbury School, located in Fort Wayne, Ind., is an accredited independent, college preparatory day school for students age 2 through Grade 12. Our mission is to maximize the potential of young people by providing a challenging, enriching, and supportive learning environment in which students build the foundation for a life of purpose, passion, and meaning.

The Early Childhood Program is located at 5601 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Ind.
The program serves students age 2 (Canterbury Kids) through age 5 (Kindergarten Prep).

Please note: This application is for students who will be new to the Early Childhood Program at Canterbury School in Fort Wayne, Ind. The Early Childhood application and Class Time Selection Form will be available on October 2, 2023 at noon to current families, alumni, and faculty ONLY; the application opens to families new to Canterbury School on November 1, 2023.

Parents of currently enrolled students need only to complete the EC Class Time Selection Form in order to secure their student's placement for the 2024-25 academic year.
