Dear Canterbury Community,

We learned this weekend that an employee who recently visited the high school campus has tested positive for COVID-19. Thankfully, the employee is asymptomatic and is doing well. Contact tracing has been completed at this time, and fortunately no other individuals will be required to quarantine (as this infected employee was never within 6 feet or closer for 15 minutes or longer to any person). All persons who were in contact with this individual were wearing masks. The Allen County Board of Health has also been in contact with the infected employee to monitor this person's progress.

Canterbury will communicate each time there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 in our community. The school has implemented policies, procedures, guidelines, and strategies to mitigate and trace the spread of the virus in our community. We will continue to remain consistent, vigilant, and nimble in our responses throughout the duration of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We are looking forward to welcoming our faculty back on August 19th and to opening school on August 26th.

Cordially,

David Jackson
Head of School
