![]() Sunday, March 15, 2020 ![]() Dear Canterbury family, friends and supporters,
Canterbury's Leadership Team would like to take a moment to thank each member of our community for their flexibility, understanding and patience as we navigate this disruptive time in our nation and our world.
This is uncharted territory for our community, but we are committed to keeping the safety, security and health of our community members our top priority and to remain transparent in our communications to all of you during this time. We also seek to move our learning goals forward as best as possible while remaining flexible with and supportive of families as they determine how best to manage the closure of our campuses.
In spite of the difficulty and uncertainty that this has caused, one thing we can do is "lean into the good stuff." For us, that means the strength and support of our Canterbury community. While times like this may cast a shadow, a community like Canterbury is not found everywhere, and we are fortunate that we can lean on each other to get us through any difficulty, large or small. For the leadership team, the collaboration and support we have witnessed these recent weeks has been remarkable, further demonstrating our community at work.
As noted by Head of School, Bill Ennist, "Our spirit of community will guide us through the coming weeks as we work together to advance your children's education, and to support each other as needed." So, as we move to a remote learning platform, adjust our community activities, and transition to "teleworking", we realize that things will look a bit different at Canterbury for the time being. We ask for your continued patience, collaboration and flexibility during this time. Our webpage, canterburyschool.org/covid19, will continue to host our most updated information, and we will continue to communicate via email and additional channels where needed.
Thank you for all that you do for and with our Canterbury community. Please, reach out to any person on the Leadership team with questions, and most importantly, please stay safe and well.
Sincerely,
Leadership Team at Canterbury School
