Financial Assistance

We hope your 2024-25 school year has been a rewarding experience so far! As we prepare for the upcoming academic year, we’d like to remind you of our annual need-based financial assistance application process. Families can begin to apply for need-based assistance as their students enter Kindergarten through Grade 12. If your family wishes to be considered for financial assistance, you must submit an application for financial assistance each year. 

Canterbury partners with the Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) program to evaluate each family’s demonstrated need. The application for the 2025-26 school year opens today, December 6, 2024. Applications should be completed by January 17, 2025, to ensure consideration. Due to limited funds and high demand, late applications may result in reduced or unavailable awards. If no FAST application is received by the deadline, we will assume you do not wish to be considered for financial assistance, and the award may be redistributed.

Key Details

• Application Process: Access the FAST program application online, complete the form, and pay the $60 processing fee. Canterbury will only receive and have the ability to review applications once the fee has been paid.
   
• Enhancements: This year, the FAST process includes helpful improvements such as direct tax pulls from the IRS, dynamic questions tailored to your circumstances, and more. For details on these improvements, click here.
   
• Deadline: The firm deadline is January 17, 2025. Late applications will not guarantee consideration of need-based financial assistance, and available funds diminish significantly after this date.
   
• Notification: Award letters for the first round will be sent by February 13, 2025, ahead of the opt-out deadline of March 1, 2025.
