  • DONATE A VACATION HOME FOR 2014 LAUGHING CAVALIER

Every year the Laughing Cavalier auction features fabulous trips. We are already planning a great line-up for the 2014 Laughing Cavalier to live up to our theme: "Oh, The Places We'll Go!" and we would love to plan a trip to your corner of the world. If you own a lake house, condo or time share please consider donating a week or weekend stay. It is a wonderful way to support Canterbury School and would be a great addition to the evening's success. Contact Cathy Diamente, Megan Campbell, Kathi Stronczek or Diane Witwer for more information or to discuss your ideas.

  • LAST NEWSLETTER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR

This is the last newsletter of the school year. We will continue to send information via email as we wrap up the school year and begin Summer Programs and HS Summer School. Additionally, we have already begun preparing information and forms needed as your students prepare for the 2013-2014 school year. Watch for special email communications announcing when forms and lists are available in the Parents section of the school website such as reading and school supply lists, medical forms, volunteer information and more.

  • CAV OPEN AND SENIOR CAV RESULTS

Many thanks to all the volunteers, participants, sponsors and donors who made the Cavalier Open and new High School Senior Cav events great successes. More than $20,000 was raised for Canterbury athletics. These funds will be put to good use across all grade levels to buy much-needed athletic equipment and supplies and to help underwrite professional development for the coaches and athletics staff.

Contributions for items on the coaches’ Wish List are still being accepted. Contact Melinda Perry at to see what your team still needs.

    Special thanks to the following:

  • BIG DIG SUCCESS

    Maria Geyer and Beth Noe

    SPECIAL NOTE:

Canterbury School would like to thank Beth Noe and Maria Geyer for all the volunteer hours they put into organizing the Big Dig Garage Sale. They already are collecting items for the sale in May 2014. The following is a wrap letter from Beth.

"The Parent Association's Big Dig Garage Sale was an enormous success this year, generating more than $17,000.00 that benefits all divisions of Canterbury School. With more than 150 people lined up outside waiting to shop the sale first thing in the morning, an ample stream of shoppers continued visiting the sale throughout the day. The Big Dig Diner served 90 hamburgers and 100 hot dogs throughout the day. None of this sale and it's success is possible without generous donations of goods, as well as endless amounts of time and support from countless parents, students and teachers. Thank you from the entire crew of the Big Dig.

Please give special thanks to the Geyer and the Crowl families:
