The Cavalier Clothing Company is a  service of the Parent Association  staffed by parent volunteers.

All proceeds benefit  Canterbury School.

Every Parent is a Member

Welcome to a new year at Canterbury School. As the parent of a Canterbury
student, you are automatically a member of the Parent Association, and we invite you to play an active role in your child’s education and extracurricular activities.

Parent Association volunteers support the teachers and administration in every division (Early Childhood, Lower School, Middle School, and High School) and for many school-wide events. Please take a moment to read our Mission Statement. No matter what grade your child is in or what your schedule is like, there are volunteer opportunities for you to be involved, get to know other parents and students, share of your time and talents, and enrich our Canterbury community.

Please review the Volunteer Opportunities page and identify at least one event that interests you. Of course, you may sign up for as many activities as you like! Feel free to contact me or any member of the steering committee to learn more about a particular event. Our contact information is in the school Buzz Book and the online Parent Directory. Our goal is 100 percent participation, and we are committed to finding the right volunteer opportunities for you.

You also are invited to attend all Parent Association meetings. The dates and times of each meeting for the school year are listed on the right. In addition to discussing Parent Association business, we invite guest speakers to talk about different aspects of the Canterbury education.

I welcome your phone calls and emails with questions, comments and ideas. If you see me, and we’ve not met, I hope you’ll stop and introduce yourself and let me know your thoughts on our Parent Association. Thank you for investing your time in your child’s experience at Canterbury.

Sincerely,

Laurie Gray
Parent Association President
