Chess Club
The chess club meets once
a week throughout the year (either Monday or Thursday, depending upon
a child’s skill level), and there are opportunities for
competition. There is a membership fee.
Scouting
Students can participate in Scouting throughout the school year, including Cub
Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies and Daisies.
SPREE Gymnastics
Spree is a
noncompetitive gymnastics program designed to enhance your child’s
self-esteem, physical ability and confidence. It is open to students in Kindergarten
Prep through Grade 2. There is a membership fee.
The Green Team
Students volunteer to work with the Lower School science specialist during lunch recess on recycling issues.
Tech Team
Fourth-grade students
apply to be members of the Tech Team, which meets weekly
during lunch recess. Under the supervision of the Lower School computer
specialist, students assist with the maintenance and upkeep of all
Lower School computers.
ACTIVITIES BY SESSION
Computer Club
This club for third- and fourth-grade students meets weekly,
with five-week sessions limited to 12 students. There is a membership
fee.
Science Club
The science club,
open to students in Kindergarten through Grade 4, consists of various four-week sessions throughout the year for
different grade levels. There is a membership fee.
After-School Enrichment
Classes are sponsored by the Parent Association. There are various activities throughout the year.
Soccer Club
The soccer club provides training for any students interested in
learning to play soccer. There is no fee for grades K-3.
There is a fee for Grade 4.
Baseball Club
The baseball club provides training for any students interested in learning to play baseball.
Volleyball Club
The volleyball club offers training in volleyball for any students interested in learning to play.
Girls' Basketball
This is an introduction to basketball for girls in grades 1 through 4.
Boys' Basketball
This club offers training in basketball for boys in grades 1 through 4.
