    Register for Girls Volleyball Mini Camp Oct. 26 Grades 1-8

    CLICK TO REGISTER AND PAY ONLINE FOR CAMP Canterbury High School volleyball coaches will be holding a mini camp for girls in grades 1-8 on October 26 at the Middle School gym.

    Beginning Camp (Grades 1-4) will meet fro m noon to 1 p.m. This is an introduction to volleyball - basic volleyball form and ball movement. The cost is $15. Intermediate Camp (Grades 4-6) will meet from 1:15-2:45 p.m. and is for girls who have some volleyball experience. We will refresh skills and teach proper techniques for more advanced situations. Cost is $20. Advanced Camp (Grades 6-8) will meet from 3-5 p.m.. This session is for girls who have played 3+ seasons (school/club) and want to refine skills in game like setting. Cost is $25. Grade levels overlap; please feel free to place your daughter in the upper level if it is a good fit.

  • 81 students recognized by the College Board with 84 AP Awards; 3 named National AP Scholars

    The Advanced Placement (AP) exam is required for all high school students enrolled in AP courses. Last May, 154 Canterbury High School students wrote 319 AP exams. Out of a possible score of 5, 92 percent earned 3 or higher and 67 percent earned scores of 4 or 5. Additionally, 81 students who sat for the Advanced Placement exams last spring have been designated AP Scholars by The College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program Exams. Canterbury students averaged a 3.9 average on all exams, while the Indiana average was 2.65 and the National average was 2.87. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on student performance on AP exams. National AP Scholars Three Canterbury students were recognized as National AP Scholars by earning an average grade of 4 or higher on a 5-point scale on eight or more AP Exams. These students are Peter Dun ’16, Walter Li ’15, and Georgia Lea Williams '14.
