Artisan Bread Class    

June 25      Saturday     9 a.m.-1 p.m.     Tuition $125 (includes bread kit)
You will learn to bake the bread served at Joseph Decuis restaurant. In this hands-on culinary adventure, baker Joe Bellavance will walk you through everything he does there: mixing, rising, finishing, baking and, of course, eating. When you leave, you’ll walk away with a Bella Artisan Bread Kit, a happy tummy, and another way to wow your friends and family.

Fashion Re-design   

June 25     Saturday        9 a.m.-4 p.m.             Tuition: $150
Imagine taking a few discarded, outgrown or hand-me-down items and turning them into a new, designer one-of-a-kind. In this session, you will become the designer and you will create a unique wearable, under the guidance of your professional teacher. Learn the basics, make an outfit, and get prepared to create on your own for the rest of the summer. The instructor will contact participants prior to class to discuss individual projects and goals. Bring a lunch.

Social Media   

June 25     Saturday        9 a.m.-1 p.m.              Tuition: $100
Social media is changing the world. Come and learn what the implications are for education and for business. Does social media have a place in the classroom? How can businesses benefit from using social media? If you want to learn how to use Facebook, Twitter, Wikis, Blogs, and other social media for your circumstances, this will be time well-spent.

Integrating Content with Technology  

June 25       Saturday      9 a.m.-1 p.m.              Tuition: $100
If you’ve ever wanted to jazz up your presentations for school or business, sign up for this one. You will learn about how Prezi trumps PowerPoint, how Glogs and YouTube can add spice and interest. Explore Wikis, Blogs, Social Bookmarking, and other technologies.

Canoeing/Kayaking   

June 25     Saturday         9 a.m.-4 p.m.             Tuition: $150
Spend a day on the river as we enjoy good company and beautiful scenery. The instructor will teach basics to beginners and intermediate students before putting canoes into the water. Pack a lunch, dry clothes (just in case), and get ready for fun. Rental of canoes and kayaks included in fee.
