All Inclusive Arts
From age 2 through Grade 12, Canterbury students have every opportunity to experience the arts in a variety of ways. From vocal and instrumental music to drama and dance to visual art and photography, fine arts courses are an important part of the school curriculum.

At Canterbury, every student makes the team. The interscholastic sports program encourages individual participation and achievement by giving every student an opportunity to learn and play sports competitively. This policy of inclusion is at the core of Canterbury athletics.

As an independent school, we design our own programs and curriculum and operate without reliance on local, state or federal taxes. Canterbury School relies on tuition income, Canterbury Fund contributions, endowment income and other fundraising activities to support our thriving college preparatory environment.

The Canterbury Scholastic Competition is an opportunity for area eighth graders to challenge their minds and showcase their skills.

Students will compete for a scholarship to attend Canterbury High School beginning their freshman year. Competitors will complete a standardized test and written essay. Stay tuned for details on this year's competition!

2022 CANTERBURY SCHOLARS

Congratulations to this year's Canterbury Scholar scholarship recipients Arielle Waterfield and Suzanne Blee! The written test and essay were completed in October, and the scholarship will be for the 2023-24 school year when both students are freshmen at Canterbury High School.
