REGISTER FOR THE 5K FAMILY FUN RUN/WALK
Whether you love to run or walking is more your speed, bring the whole family on Saturday, October 14, to the Tin Can 5K. The Canterbury Family Fun Run/Walk is an annual community event. This race offers great fun, fitness, prizes and the opportunity to serve the hunger needs of our community. The course begins at the Canterbury High School soccer fields and continues through the campus to use part of the Aboite New Trails system. Proceeds and donated food items benefit Associated Churches Food Network. Pre-register online ($20) for the 5K race/walk. Shirts will be given to the first 120 to pre-register. Event open to the community.
About the Canterbury School Family Fun Run/Walk
- 8 a.m. FINAL REGISTRATION
- 8:45 a.m. Pee Wee Race (ages 3-9)
Entry Fee: Canned Food Donation/register at the race. - Register for 5K beginning at 8 a.m. day of the race. Course is the length of the HS soccer field and back.
- 9 a.m. 5K Run/Walk
Entry Fee: $20 (if you register and pay in advance; $25 morning of the event) and Canned Food Donation - Food barrels will be located at the race site for your canned food donations
- Free childcare provided for Pee Wee racers during the 5K
- 10 a.m. Awards
Awards are given to the overall male and female winners and to the first three male and female winners in each age group. Age groups are 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
