Since 1981, Canterbury Soccer Camp has been one of the area’s most respected. The camp encourages the development of fundamental soccer skills in an environment that stresses sportsmanship and cooperation. The staff includes the most experienced and successful coaches in the Fort Wayne area—professional educators adept at working with players at all skill levels. All campers will receive a Canterbury Soccer Camp T-shirt and ball. Children participating in the All-Day Camp are asked to bring a lunch and beverage every day. Jerry Gerig, USPTA tennis professional, is the director of Canterbury’s tennis program, which is held on the High School campus. Before coming to Canterbury 12 years ago, Jerry taught tennis at Fort Wayne Country Club for several years. Jerry coaches the boys and girls High School teams at Canterbury as well as the Middle School teams. He also teaches tennis in all P.E. classes at Canterbury from the Lower School through the High School. For more information, campers may contact Coach Gerig at 260-478-6808.

Friday: Champions Tourney – Everyone
Each day, grade levels will participate in 2 on 2 and 3 on 3 games. The K-1st grade group will experience the games in a non-competitive way. Those students will rotate partners and teammates. The other grade levels from 2nd – 8th will enjoy a double elimination tournament. If a team loses two games, they will play other skill development games with a high school coach. Other high school coaches will be instructing students as they work through game situations. A heavy emphasis will be placed on rules and fundamental development within the games. On Friday, the top two teams from each grade level will compete in a Champions Tourney. All participants Monday through Thursday are invited to come again on Friday, as they work in small groups on skills during the Champions Tourney. Register as a team, or register individually and we will place you on a team. All participants will receive T-shirts.
