Two to play college soccer

Canterbury High School held a College Sport Signing Ceremony Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, for seniors Madison Howell and Sydney Colby. Madison will attend the Milwaukee School of Engineering and play Division III soccer. The team co-captain ended her high school career with 13 goals, 6 assists and 2 state championships. Sydney will attend High Point University and play Division l soccer. The team co-captian ended her high school career with 39 goals, 14 assists and 2 state championships.

Coach Mauch honored nationally for long-term service

Canterbury Soccer Coach Greg Mauch was honored January 13 in Los Angeles during the NSCAA Awards Banquet in conjunction with the 70th annual NSCAA Convention. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America honored him with the Robert W. Robinson Award - High School Long-Term Service Award sponsored by the american Youth Soccer Organization. The award is presented annually to someone who has exhibited a career of contributions and service to both the NSCAA and the game at their constituent level.
