Art Gallery

Twenty Gold Key entries from Canterbury Middle and High School artists will go on to compete in the National Scholastic Art Awards. Canterbury students were awarded a total of 37 Scholastic Art Awards including 4 Senior Gold Key Portfolios. There were 3,068 art entries in the region competition, which ranks in the top five in the nation. The awarded works will be included in the region display at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art February 12 through April 9.

Canterbury Middle and High School students earned 128 honors in the Scholastic Writing competition for the region. Overall, 1,293 writing pieces were submitted regionally. Canterbury students received 39 of the 137 Gold Keys awarded, 56 of the 188 Silver Keys, and 32 of 153 Honorable Mention awards. One senior also received an American Voice Writing nomination. The writing projects receiving awards will be on display at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art beginning February 12 through April 9. Gold Key writing continues on in the national Scholastic Writing competition.
